I honestly cannot recommend 14 & Sixpence and the wonderful Cathy highly enough. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt completely at ease and, most importantly, there was absolutely no pressure. Cathy was professional, warm, patient and genuinely wanted me to feel amazing in whatever I chose.

As someone who doesn’t fit the conventional dress size or shape, I was a little apprehensive about finding something suitable. Cathy completely put those worries to rest. The selection of dresses was absolutely breathtaking, and she had such a wonderful eye for what would work for me. Every dress felt special, and I genuinely felt like a princess throughout the entire experience.

I was looking for something particularly special for a Christmas Military Ball, and I wanted the dress to reflect just how significant the occasion was. Cathy understood that perfectly and made the whole experience feel like part of the occasion itself, rather than simply shopping for a dress.

What made it even more precious was being able to share this experience with my daughter. It became a really special memory for both of us, and that is something I will treasure.

With prom season pending I knew there was only one place and person we would be visiting! We used Cathy 9 years ago for bridesmaid and flower girl dresses and we were so excited to return to her for a prom dress. She advised us of local seamstresses and following this process she stored, steamed our dress and had it ready and waiting for collection prior to prom day! Thank you.
